People Helped = unique individuals who reached out via WhatsApp, helpline, or partner channels and received at least one substantive response from the LokSahayak team.

Problems Resolved = cases where the underlying issue (FIR registered, scheme disbursed, certificate issued, dispute mediated) was confirmed closed by the user — not just acknowledged.

Districts & States = locations from which at least one verified case originated.

Yes. LokSahayak charges nothing — no fee, no donation request from users, no commission. The service is funded by Pulin Foundation and volunteer contributions. If anyone asks you for money in our name, please report it to us immediately.

मेरी निजी जानकारी सुरक्षित है? / Is my personal information safe?

Your details are seen only by the LokSahayak case-handling team. We do not sell, share, or publish your information. Names in case studies on this site are either consented or withheld for privacy.

आप कौन हैं? / Who are you?

LokSahayak is a citizen-help initiative run in collaboration with Pulin Foundation, an NGO that has been working with rural and underprivileged communities in North India. Meet the team →

कितने दिन में जवाब मिलेगा? / How fast will I get a response?

First response on WhatsApp is usually within a few hours. Resolution time depends on the problem — a scheme query may be answered the same day; an FIR or land matter can take weeks. We stay with you until it's actually resolved, not just acknowledged.

अगर मेरी समस्या न सुलझे तो? / What if my problem isn't resolved?

If our first guidance doesn't work, we escalate — through RTI, departmental complaints, ombudsman, media, or legal aid networks. We tell you honestly when a case is outside our capacity and connect you to the right body.

क्या मुझे हिंदी ही आनी चाहिए? / Do I have to speak Hindi?

No. WhatsApp us in Hindi, English, Bhojpuri, Awadhi, or any regional language — even a voice note works. We'll respond in the language you used.
